2007 Singapore RCMC National Championship

The idea of having a local ranking series was mooted by members and discussed at the Management Committee meeting. So this is what we finalised. It is surely not perfect, but to be fair, we will stick with it, gather feedback from RCMC members and then refine it for the next round.

General and simple rules would include:

  1. 85 points shall be awarded to the top finisher of each event, 83 points to second, 82 points to third and 1 point less down the rank list.

  2. The respective 2007 Singapore Invitational Challenge event shall be a compulsory point event for RCMC members.

  3. The best 3 of the remaining 4 event points will be used to total up for the ranking list.

  4. In the event of clement weather and of if the event is cancelled due to whatever reason, we will use the best 2of3 or 1of2 or 1of1 on the remaining event points for this ranking list.

  5. Non RCMC members are welcomed to join the events; however, their finishing positions shall be skipped in the assignment of ranking points for RCMC members.

  6. Due to this short notice, non RCMC members shall be given up till the Saturday before the 2nd event to join us as RCMC members. And their points from the 1st event shall be reinstated. Beyond which, only points gained from the events, after they have joined RCMC, shall be valid.

The ranking events shall be:

  • GP on-road series for 8th Scale IC cars and 10th Scale 200mm ISTC at East Coast Track by RCMC. Please contact Sunny for details;
